1. What is the standard limited warranty policy?
Maxxsonics Standard Limited Warranty For New Products
As the manufacturer of Maxxsonics, MB Quart, Hifonics , Crunch and Autotek car audio products, Maxxsonics USA Inc. Warrants, to the original consumer purchaser, the amplifier to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) Year from date of purchase. All other parts and accessories of the system are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from date of purchase. Maxxsonics will repair or replace at it’s option and free of charge during the warranty period, any system component that proves defective in materials and workmanship under normal installation, use and service provided that the product is returned to the authorized Maxxsonics dealer from where it was purchased. A photocopy of the original receipt must accompany the product being returned. Valid purchase receipts will contain the name and address of the authorized reseller. Any damage to the product as a result of misuse, abuse, accident, incorrect wiring, improper installation, alteration of date code or bar code labels, revolution, natural disaster, or any sneaky stuff because someone messed up, repair or alteration outside of our factory or authorized service centers and any thing else you have done that you should not have done is not covered. This warranty is limited to defective parts and specifically excludes any incidental or consequential damages connected therewith. This warranty is not to be construed as an insurance policy. Installation labor, removal, re-installation and freight charges are not the responsibility of Maxxsonics USA Inc. Warranty products damaged as a result of insufficient or improper packing materials are not covered by this limited warranty and such damaged product will be returned “as is” at the expense of the owner.
2. What is the Extended Limited Warranty Plan (The Maxx Plan)?

Now that you have purchased a best in class amplifier from Maxxsonics, you can rest assured that you will enjoy years of listening pleasure with one of our extended warranty plans. During the normal warranty registration process, you may have the option to extend your factory new product warranty to a full three years of coverage for just a few cents per day. If you have purchased one of our factory refurbished products, you may also have the option to extend the normal 90-day warranty to a full year of coverage. 3. What do I need to do to participate in the The Maxx Plan?
To Participate:
• You must register your product within 30 days of original purchase from your authorized Maxxsonics reseller.
• Upon registration of your product, the website will determine product eligibility for extended limited warranty participation.
• Provide a dated sales receipt for the registered product upon request.
4. What is the term of The Maxx Plan?
Extended Warranty Term:
• If your product is factory new you will have the option to purchase:
- a 1 year extension of the limited warranty which will cover your registered product for 2 full years from date of purchase .
- a 2 year extension of the limited warranty which will cover your registered product for 3 full years from date of purchase.
• If your product is factory-refurbished you will have the option to extend the 90-day limited warranty to a full year of coverage from date of purchase.
5. What is covered under The Maxx Plan?
Extended Warranty Coverage:
• The Maxxsonics Extended Limited Warranty will begin immediately following the expiration of the original warranty period for the Covered Item and extend through 11:59pm on the End Coverage Date when purchased from a Maxxsonics authorized reseller.
• Maxxsonics will repair or replace, at it’s option and free of charge during the initial or extended limited warranty period, any system component that proves defective in materials and workmanship under normal installation, use and service.
• If your product needs to be replaced instead of repaired, Maxxsonics will attempt to replace your item with the same model. If the same model is not available, Maxxsonics will provide an amplifier with similar characteristics as the original.
• If a replacement amplifier is provided, it will be automatically covered under the terms and duration of your existing extended limited warranty plan.
6. What is NOT covered under The Maxx Plan?
Extended Warranty DOES NOT Cover:
• Damage that occurs during shipping. You must make sure that Your item is properly packaged to ensure safe delivery to our facility.
• Damage to the product as a result of misuse, abuse, accident, incorrect wiring or improper installation. (most amplifier damage is caused as a result of connecting speakers with a impedance that is lower than the amplifier is rated to handle. As an example, if the amplifier is rated at 1 ohm stable you cannot and should not connect a speaker load that has a combined impedance of less than 1 ohm such as 0.75, 0.50 or 0.25 ohms) For more information on why impedance matters please visit Maxxsonics on Youtube.
• Products that have been tamper with or modified in any way including such items as removal of date code or bar code labels.
• Repair or alterations outside of our factory or authorized service centers.
• Accidental damage caused by such things as traffic accidents or exposure to water.
7. How do I request service under The Maxx Plan?
Extended Warranty Service Request:
• If you should ever need service, know that we are here for you. Simply access our website at http://www.maxxwarranty.com/claims to fill out and submit an online request for service.
• A copy of your original dated sales receipt will be requested, if you should ever need service, so please keep it in a safe place.
• We will instruct you where to ship your product for repair or replacement and provide a Return Authorization number (RA). You, the consumer, are responsible for all return shipping charges to deliver your product to Maxxsonics or the designated repair facility.
• The RA number must be clearly marked on the outside of your package.
• Once your product is received, Maxxsonics will inspect and test your item to verify the reason for return.
• Upon verification of your claim, Maxxsonics will repair or replace your product and pay the return shipping charges.
8. What if I want to Cancel my participation in The Maxx Plan?
Cancellation of Agreement
• You may cancel this Warranty at any time by contacting Maxxsonics at (847) 540-7700 or https://warranty.maxxwarranty.com/cancel.php; provided that you have not previously made any service request and no service request is pending under this Warranty.
• Maxxsonics may also cancel this Warranty at any time by contacting You at the contact information you provided in the table on page 1 of the Warranty Agreement.
• If either party cancels this Warranty within the first sixty (60) days after registration, you will receive a full refund (less a $5.00 administrative fee); if either party cancels this Warranty after (60) days from the date of registration, you will receive a prorated refund based on the time remaining until the End Coverage Date (less a $5.00 administrative fee and setoff of any amount owed to Maxxsonics to the extent legally permissible).
9. How much does it cost?
The cost of the extended warranty agreement is different for each item. You must first determine if your product is eligible to participate in the program before the cost can be calculated.
